Woods
All our clocks are handcrafted from solid wood - Oak, Mahogany and Walnut.
All wood is seasoned and individually selected to ensure our customers clocks show, where possible, the grain of the wood at its visual best.
A rigid ply backboard gives an excellent sound box for chimes resonance, and spaced ribs ensure a solid stable chassis befitting a longcase clock destined for future centuries. |

Finishes
Once construction of the case is complete, it is stained and polished. Virtually any shade is possible to ensure that your longcase clock can blend in with, or stand out from, other furniture shades in your home.
French Polishing provides the best results for authentic lasting quality, and days of patient hand-polishing go into each longcase, providing a surface to last for generations to come.
